How Long The NuvaRing Lasts: The ring should be worn for 21 days, and removed for 7 days. Menstruation will occur during the 7 days the user is not wearing the ring.

If placed correctly, the user should not be able to feel the ring while it is in place, and the ring does not need to be removed for three weeks.
