Holding a Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D. from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, Dr. Bouchard brings over thirty years of training, experience and heart to his healing work. In addition, Dr. Bouchard is Faculty with the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, as well as Graduate School Professor of Counseling for the University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus. Dr. Bouchard is also an Honorably Discharged 1970's era United States Marine Corps veteran.

Dr. Michael Ra Bouchard is the founder and director of the Aloha Sexual Health and Happiness Center located on Maui and The Big Island of Hawai’i. He is a board certified psychologist and sexologist, Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology, member of the American College of Sexology, member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, and member of the American Counseling Association. As a sex educator, researcher and therapist in New Orleans, San Francisco and Manhattan from 1981-1994, he helped thousands of people to overcome their sexual, marital and relationship challenges. Returning to his early childhood home of Hawai’i in 1994, Dr. Bouchard founded the Aloha Sexual Health and Happiness Center. He provides counseling throughout the Hawaiian Islands and worldwide via distance telephone sessions.
